Improving Practical Skills

Some of the practical knowledge I gain from the internship was:

• • Construction of frame work and false work for some reinforced concrete structure.
  • Bar bending, positioning, splicing and tying according the specified drawing.
  • Surveying on building construction.
  • Casting and pouring of reinforced concrete structure and equipment used.
  • How to used Aids (chalk, scale and books) to make lecturers attract full.

Upgrading The Theoretical Knowledge

I got the internship class very interesting in terms of upgrading theoretical knowledge and I learned from the site some theories are as under:

• • Quantity surveying
  • Structural Design of shear wall and its advantage. Construction equipment Report writing.

Upgrading interpersonal communication skills

My communication classes prepared me to interact effectively in order to exchange information with possible ways. Now I know how to communicate with such a big crowd effectively.

Improving team playing skills

It helps me a lot in a way that how can I work in group and team system. How to make policies and how to apply them in different ways .

Improving Leadership Skills

It helps me in following ways.

• • Be technically proficient.
  • Seek responsibilities and take responsibilities for your actions.
  • Make sound and timely decisions.
  • Keep your workers informed.
  • Know your people and look out for their well being.
